“You know the cafe owners, some of them, are keeping all the tips.

“I watched them and it is crazy, not letting the other workers get their part. Just watch when you go to a cafe cause I have been watching and it’s not fair to the rest of the workers. Time will tell on them. Open your eyes, folks.”

Turn signal

“Monday 9:30 AM in the area of the hospital the driver of police car no. 42 was too important to be bothered by such a trivial inconvenience as to use his turn signal.”

Rant and Rave

“As an outsider and having no school aged children, I enjoy the Rant and Rave comments because they represent a vibrant, involved community that other cities do not enjoy. While not being local puts me at a certain disadvantage to others, I get most of the comments. The BOE seems to invoke a lot of negative comments.”

Immigration

“Just curious, what exactly IS the Democratic Party’s platform on immigration? They don’t seem to want to be on the record for ANY official position. What is the Democratic Party’s immigration reform plan? Oh right, I forgot, it’s yell, scream, distort, blame, demand and lie.”

Follow the money

“Commissioner Jelks you have your work cut out for you. The first order of business should be a breakdown by district of the money spent in each over the last ten years. Then get out and ride your district, don’t take the word of others, follow the money.”
