Moultrie artist earns Best in Show

ALBANY, GA. — The Albany Area Arts Council held its opening reception for the annual “Southwest Georgia Regional Juried Fine Arts Exhibition and Sale” on June 7.

Gay, of Moultrie, has been invited by the council to present a solo exhibition of her work at the arts council building, the historic Carnegie Library, located at 215 N. Jackson St. in downtown Albany. The public is invited to the opening reception to be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. The exhibition may be viewed through Sept. 14. There is no charge for admission.
