DDA meeting

The Moultrie Downtown Development Authority will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 19, in the Southwest Georgia Wealth Strategies Building (2nd floor conference room), 25 Second Ave. S.W.

American Legion

American Legion Post 324 meets the third Tuesday of every month in the back of the Museum of Colquitt County History. Members socialize with Cokes and pizza from 6 to 7 p.m. and meet from 7 to 8. All veterans are welcome.

Country Jamboree

The Staggerwing Country Jamboree is every Friday night at 7 p.m. at Spence Field in Maule Pilot lounge at the lake hangar. It offers round and line dancing and the music is provided by new band leader Luke Folsom and by other specials. Admission is free and there is no drinking.

Masonic lodge
