MOULTRIE, Ga. — A Norman Park man and Moultrie teen-ager encountered Monday night an apparently drunk woman who pushed them in a store parking lot while looking for her granddaughter.
Tristen Scarberry, 21, told police that he and some friends were hanging out in a parking lot in the 600 block of Veterans Parkway at about 11:30 when a driver pulled up in a gold Toyota Tacoma.
The woman approached Scarberry and his friends and asked for her granddaughter, who the woman said was hanging around with the group, he reported. When they told her they did not know her granddaughter’s whereabouts the woman “started to push them around,” including Brandon Cannon, 17, and another friend.
When they got in a car to leave the male driver of the car pulled into their path, causing them to go over a curb to avoid a collision.
Police planned to view the video from the parking lot.
