VALDOSTA – Georgia Connections Academy, a statewide virtual charter school providing free, completely online sixth through 12th education to students in every county, has opened enrollment for the 2018-19 school year and will be hosting an in-person information session in Valdosta. 

The event is scheduled 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday June 27, at the Hampton Inn Valdosta Conference Center, 1805 W. Hill Ave., according to organizers.

School officials said enrolling as early as possible gives families the best chance at confirming their spot at the school. Interested families are invited to attend the in-person information session to see first-hand about the virtual school and meet with school leaders and parents.
