The Grady County Board of Commissioners has drafted a resolution to amend the agreement between the city and county for SPLOST funds use and distribution, according to a Tuesday meeting agenda.

Included in the 2008 sales tax ballot was the aquatic center project.

At an April joint meeting of Cairo, Grady and Whigham governments, county officials said the commission was in favor of declaring the aquatic center project infeasible and putting it back on a ballot.

Grady County has a 61 percent share of the project, and the City of Cairo has a 39 percent share.
