Camilla man charged with child sex acts

MOULTRIE, Ga. — A Camilla man faces child molestation in connection with allegations of sexual contact with two girls in Colquitt County.

Christopher Pierce, 43, 53 Honeysuckle Lane, was charged on Tuesday with two counts of child molestation.

He is accused of having sexual contact with the 11- and 13-year-old girls over the period of about a month, Colquitt County Sheriff’s Sgt. Nathan Cato said.

Pierce was released Tuesday on a $20,000 bond signed by a bail bondsman, according to the sheriff’s office.

• Estela Martinez-Hernandez, 40, 1319 Alton Road, Ellenton, was charged Wednesday with defective equipment and driving without license.

• Ricky Lavon Holt, 35, 699 J.O. Stewart Road, Norman Park, was charged Wednesday with failure to appear.

Moultrie Police

• Wal-Mart, 641 Veterans Parkway S., reported Wednesday a shoplifting incident in which clothes, electronics and other merchandise with a total value of $581 were stolen.

• Euyoque Christian Contreras, 200 block Lakeside Drive, reported Wednesday the theft of property valued at $2,100.
