Roxanne Herndon earns livestock awards

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Roxanne Herndon, a rising fifth grader at Okapilco Elementary School, proudly displays the trophies and belt buckles she won in the 2017-2018 school year.
She placed first in Showmanship and first in her weight class with her wether “Sticks” in the Colquitt County Goat and Lamb Show. In addition to this local show, Herndon placed first in Showmanship at the Albany Exchange Club Fair and in The Georgia Livestock Show in Perry, Georgia.
Roxanne’s brother, Rawlins, is following in his sister’s footsteps by showing his goats and pigs too.
