Woman dies in crash with lumber truck

- A semi truck hauling lumber collided with a pickup truck on Highway 133 Friday afternoon.
MOULTRIE, Ga. — One woman was killed in a brutal collision on Friday afternoon and her passenger was transported to Archbold Memorial Hospital.
The accident on Highway 133 South near the intersection of Sylvester Highway remained under investigation into the evening.
At the scene a semi was seen partially resting on top of a Dodge pickup truck that came to rest on its passenger side. The truck was carrying lumber and it was scattered around the area.
The Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team had been called to the scene.
The driver of the semi truck was at the scene and did not appear to have any injuries.
