Meeting canceled

The Colquitt County Board of Commissioners has canceled its budget meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday, May 24. Budget meetings will resume as scheduled on May 29.

Youth Crusade

Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 501 Eighth St. N.W., will observe its annual Youth Crusade at 7 p.m. Monday, May 28, through Wednesday, May 30. Guest speaker is the Rev. Freddie Turner. The Rev. J.W. Greene Jr. is the pastor.

Homecoming sing

New Jerusalem Freewill Baptist Church will hold a homecoming sing at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 27, with Highway 3:16.

Bishop anniversary

Bishop Archie Skipper will celebrate his 12th anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at White Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

The speaker will be Pastor Alphonso Neal and Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Wales, Ala.
