Former railroad track

“When is the gravel pit gonna get fixed on 5th avenue? It is worse now than it was going across the railroad tracks. This is riddiculous!”

Litter

“Two things you can be sure of when you go out to get the Sunday paper, gnats and trash in the streets people have thrown out over night.”

Landlords

“Attended the Public Hearing concerning Landlords and tenants. Been reading the Rants about how the City is too hard on Landlords. Shame on you D.M. and L.F. You were the only ones that had no suggestions as to how make renters homes safer and energy efficient. Just want to say, ‘Thank You City of Moultrie for caring about us!’”

Drive safer

“We live on Hopewell Church Road and Old Berlin, and many people daily are passing produce trucks not stopping at the stop sign and just driving dangerously. Please we do not wish to see someone killed or hurt. Be patient, put those dumb phones down and give these huge trucks the right of way or don’t drive out this way.”

No AC at school

“With temperatures on the rise, I have received numerous complaints from students, parents, and faculty, in regards to the Achievement Center Administration not running the air condition. A simple phone call to the School Board gave me no luck in resolving the issue. The Administration needs to act before State involvement in necessary. The issue is currently going unnoticed.”

It will cost us

“This bureaucracy regulating landlords in Moultrie is going to cost property owners a LOT more every year starting in 3 or 4 years. Eventually, the bureaucracy will expand to businesses and control them just like landlords. How does that feel taxpayers, ever wonder why your taxes are always going up? Now you know.”

Bureaucracy

“Landlords invest a lot of money in properties and nervously entrust that property to others. All the prior research in the world doesn’t prevent renters from damaging properties. That is why they are renters, not owners. You City Council Members simply do not know just how many people you are hurting with this new landlord police bureaucracy.”

BOE decisions

“Why does the BOE go along with everything the so-called central office leaders propose? You all will have to answer for your decisions one day!”
