MOULTRIE, Ga. — The ninth grade math department at C.A. Gray Junior High School found a fun way to review for their upcoming End of Course Test.

Students were instructed to visit all 10 stations set up throughout the classrooms and math hallway where they would have the opportunity to play a carnival game and work a review problem. Stamps were given for winning the games and for getting problems correct. Prizes were then awarded to students with the most stamps, and a grade was associated with completing a certain number of problems.

“I walked around viewing 100 percent participation from our students while they were competing and encouraging each other in positive and supportive ways through games and activities that were math driven,” says Principal Fred Smith.
