The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Ryce Community Center, 305 Seventh St. N.W.

Mother’s Day event

J.E.W. Ministries will present a “Pre-Mother’s Day Explosion” Saturday, May 12, at Union Grove House of Prayer Church, 1002 First Ave. S.W. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and music starts at 6. Five groups will perform. Early bird tickets are on sale for $12. Call 229-668-4800 for more information. The first 25 mothers will get a free flower.
