“Well, I hear we’ve lost another black administrator to a neighboring county. Why can’t we keep good blacks here in Colquitt County? Maybe they don’t like being a token. We have 1500 employees with the BOE and now only 6 black leaders! Did someone say lawsuit?”

911 fees

“Can not believe the county wants those of us living in small towns in county to pay twice for 911. Not fair. I do not appreciate it. Neither does those in Doerun, Moultrie, Norman Park, and Berlin. Time for somebody to standup to unfair bullying.”

Ballot questions

“As I was looking over the ballot, I too noticed that the questions were only for the Democrat voters. All of them will affect all taxpayers. So why aren’t Republicans voting on these?”

Refugees

“If you can’t understand why refugees risk their lives to come to America and why, as a moral beacon for the rest of the world, America has an obligation to show them compassion, then you have no sense whatsoever of what it is that truly makes America great.”

Baseball program

“We need a BIG change in our Baseball program. Belittling, threatening and being just plain nasty to the players is not good coaching!!”

Bankruptcy

“Is there anyway to see how many local businesses and neighbors lost money in a candidate’s recent bankruptcy case before I vote? Business is business. If I am voting for somebody handling our tax money I want to know.”

In poor taste

“It was definitely in poor taste and not very thoughtful for chaperones to wear political gear while in DC with children from our community. Washington DC isn’t a football stadium and its memorials should be visited with respect. Did you have a picture made in your MAGA caps and shirts in front of ML King’s statue?”
