MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie Service League congratulates the winners of the annual Artie the Art Bug contest. Elementary aged children were encouraged to draw their most creative version of Artie the Art Bug. A winner was selected from each grade by the staff of the Colquitt County Arts Center, and they received a gift basket of art supplies as well as a gift certificate to attend one of the many wonderful summer art camps at the Colquitt County Arts Center.
Each winner’s art was enlarged and displayed at the Moultrie Service League’s Spring Fling Art Arcade. Picture are: top left to right, Sadie Laurel Cato, PreK, R.B. This contest was unrelated to another contest the Arts Center is running with Artie. The Art Bug has been hidden somewhere in Colquitt County, and clues to its whereabouts are published in The Moultrie Observer on Tuesdays. See the ad in Tuesday’s newspaper for more information.
