Bike theft suspect caught on camera

MOULTRIE, Ga. — A bicycle was reported missing from a Moultrie residence after the family’s security camera caught video of a man looking into the back of their truck.
Dale Smithwick, 1000 block Sixth Avenue Southeast, reported Friday the theft of the bicycle valued at $70.
The family reported that their camera system showed a male looking into the back of a pickup truck and taking a small bag of screws. Further investigation revealed that the bicycle, which had been chained to a fence, was gone.

• Lakeija Head, 700 block Second Avenue Southeast, reported Friday the theft of a license plate from a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic LT.
• Catherine Tarpley, 22, reported Saturday the theft of $130 from her purse at her work place in the 2700 block of South Main Street.
• Wal-Mart, 641 Veterans Parkway S., reported Saturday that a shoplifter stole 15 fishing rods.
The value of the stolen merchandise was not immediately available.
• Theadore Lynch, 1000 block Sixth Avenue Southeast, reported Saturday that a female acquaintance took $202 from his residence.
• Moultrie Package Store, 1306 Veterans Parkway N., reported Saturday that a female walked out with a bottle of liquor valued at $35.
Sheriff’s Office
• Lynn Hampton, 100 block Lindale Ave., reported April 24 the theft of two multi-colored earth tone flower pots valued at $75 and $35.
Hampton told police there was only dirt and no plants in the pots.
• Lynn Vinson, 1400 block Lonnie Brookard Road, Norman Park, reported Sunday the theft of property valued at $300 out of her storage shed.
• Lamar Knight, 1200 block Bay Rockyford Road, Hartsfield, reported Sunday the theft of a red Honda dirt bike valued at $500.

Moultrie Police
• Erica Daniels, 200 block Second Street Northwest, reported Saturday that a male companion scratched her back and face and that he also threw her belongings around inside her residence.
Daniels told police that she did not want to press charges. Daniels had no visible injuries, police said.

• Amber Harrison, 100 block Thomas Street, reportedApril 23 that a male companion kicked a door in her face.

• Jansel Daniel Jimenez, 18, Tampa, Fla., was charged Saturday with possession of marijuana.
• Sandra Michelle Spradley, 414 11th Court Northwest, and Charlie Mae Spradley, 62, 514 First Ave. N.W., were each charged Wednesday with simple battery.

• Dallas Louanna Dickerson, 34, 2167 Hillcrest Ave., was charged Friday with seven counts financial transaction card fraud.
• Logan Dean Tillman, 17, 178 Shady Grove Road, was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.
• Michael Jerome Davis, 28, 2915 S. Central Ave., Tifton, was charged Friday with failure to appear.
• Andrew Tyler Norman, 41, 211 McElroy Road, was charged Sunday with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

• Cocomo Inn, 1713 First Ave. S.E., reported Friday that someone used silver spray paint on part of the building.
An employee told police the symbols were a smiley face and a star. Painted much larger were the letters “GUYYDPEE.”
• Kenyetta White, 500 block Fifth Avenue Southeast, reported Sunday that someone threw eggs at his 2002 Buick LeSabre and also poured sugar into the gas tank.
