Thank you
“Whoever returned the wallet they found in the Belk parking lot and turned in to Dr. Lamon’s office: The owner sure appreciates it. Call the secretary at Dr. Lamon’s office so I can get in touch; she has my name and number. I want to thank you.”
Illegal immigrants
“I wonder if those illegals that were caught in Norman Park were sheltered and protected somewhere in another state to allow them to stay in this country. I wish these ICE agents would stick around. I could recommend a couple of stores where they could stay quite busy most evenings.”
Sex offender list
“Everybody please look at the sex offender list for Colquitt County so that parents with young children know exactly who lives close to you. This is so important. Some of you will be very surprised.”
Dark windows
“Evidently all the burglaries, robberies, assaults, drug dealing, etc have been solved in the city of Moultrie. TWO cops had the extra time to pull me over because they suspected my window tint was too dark on a vehicle I have been driving since 2014. Great to know the city has resources to worry about minute things.”
Relay for Life
“Hats off to the coordinators of Relay for Life! You can’t make everyone happy, but people DO appreciate the hard work that you put into this event.”
Picking laws to enforce
“I see our sheriff says ‘our job is not to enforce immigration (laws).’ I wonder what other laws they don’t enforce. It seems to me they should enforce all the laws not pick and choose. Interesting to me.”
New facility
“$11.1 million of our tax money spent so Propst can feel like he’s coaching at a college. And just because other sports ‘can’ use the facility, doesn’t mean they’ll have a chance to. Soccer will be on the fields that are left after football takes over a couple of them too.”
Events should join forces
“Thanks to the Relay for Life team for bringing this event to Moultrie! I wish you the best, but me and my friends Bud, Miller, and Naty are going to be swinging to the tunes uptown! It’s a shame y’all couldn’t have put these events together and really brought some awareness to fighting cancer and having a good time.”
