Privacy
“If you don’t want everyone to see your private stuff, don’t post it on the worldwide web. Be very careful what you view as private. Tats, beach photos, children photos, vehicles, homes, etc might not be what you consider private. But people and businesses view, and save, your stuff a lot.”
Leadership roles
“There are few Hispanic and African American educators in Colquitt County. Please allow the students in the above cultures to see leadership from their culture. We must stop giving leadership role to people due to who they are. The Board of Education must search for quality leadership.”
Prom
“The Prom is at Moultrie Tech this year?!! How crazy is that? What about the new ‘multipurpose facility’ that taxpayers paid for? I remember them saying, ‘it’s not just for football.’ Sure!”
Relay for Life declines
“It’s sad the way Relay for Life has gone down. So many people are affected by cancer. This event should be huge, but nobody cares anymore. This year, they scheduled it out behind the ag building where it can’t be seen and also on the same night as the Swinging Medallions concert. Sad!!!”
Local talent
“I agree. We don’t need to bring anyone into Stringfellow School as principal when you have a great and very competent assistant principal already in place. This lady taught me at Stringfellow years ago and now does a great job leading the school where my kids go. She wants to be at Stringfellow! I like that.”
Timing
“Someone dropped the ball! Why would you schedule Relay for Life the same night that Spring Fling begins with downtown concert? This takes the focus off cancer! Also, why schedule open house at our new athletic facility for the same weekend. People will be tired after a weekend of partying and good fun!”
Suspicious about fire
“The fire on Mitchell County Line Road needs to be investigated more. There is more than just alcohol going on.”
Prom grouch
“Are you so miserable that you have to actually spend energy fussing about prom and the money involved? Unless its coming out of your pocket just let it rest and yell at kids on your lawn or something.”
