TIFTON, Ga. — Country music icon Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives are set to play Tift Theatre on Friday, July 6.

This stop is part of their nationwide Way Out West Tour.

Stuart, a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician, has had a long, storied music career, starting as a teenage mandolin player with Lester Flatt and The Nashville Grass.

After Flatt’s death in 1979, Stuart became a part of Johnny Cash’s backup band.

His latest album, “Way Out West,” is his 18th studio album.

Along with playing, Stuart is also steeped in country music history, with a vast collection of country music memorabilia.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. for the July 6 show.
