MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Colquitt County Arts Center is holding nominations for this year’s Evelyn King Vereen Memorial Service Award. This award recognizes a current patron who has a sustained history of service to the organization and who is an active volunteer.

Vereen, who died Sept. 10, 2016, was a member of several community organizations and served on numerous committees that benefited Colquitt County. A volunteer is chosen annually to receive this recognition in her honor.

The deadline for nominations is May 15. Entry forms are available online at colquittcountyarts.com and at the Colquitt County Arts Center located at 401 Seventh Ave. S.W. in Moultrie. The recipient will be recognized at the Arts Center Annual Meeting and Patron Gala to be held on May 24.
