Rep. Wilson
“Rep. Joe Wilson, South Carolina Republican who shouted ‘you lie’ at President Barack Obama. I wonder how he describes Donald Trump.”
Background checks for ammo
“Democrats now want background checks for ammo. Bet those same Democrats will be above that law too. Like no one else has a right to protect themselves. Just the ‘important’ people, like them. Not to mention the burden that would put on low income individuals and families who, in many ways, need a firearm for self defense the most.”
More laws?
“So our government fails to enforce already existing laws and when tragedy ensues, the Democrats’ response: WE NEED MORE LAWS! Talk about a mentally deranged bunch that needs to be locked up!!!”
Oprah
“Since Oprah complains a lot about income inequality, perhaps she could part with one of her palatial estates to pay for metal detectors for the poor schools in her home towns. Or perhaps she could spring a few million for school security, perhaps just in one of her communities. Oprah is taking full advantage of the Parkland shootings.”
Hands tied
“Broward County law enforcement had their hands tied. Superintendent Runcie, Sheriff Israel and the Juvenile State Attorney’s Office worked together to provide arrest alternatives. Students weren’t arrested for crimes, they were given counseling and mentoring. No arrests meant no crime reported so crime stats decreased. And Obama threatened to withhold federal money to schools that didn’t lower crime stats.”
Good question
“Tyra Hemans, 19, a senior, told CNN she supports parts of the new policy, such as ID requirements. But she believes other security measures, such as clear backpacks, don’t address the real problem, which she says is lax gun laws. ‘Why are you punishing me for one person’s actions?’ she said. That’s what law abiding gun owners are asking her.”
Need patrols
“We need the Deputy to patrol our Smithwick Bridge Road on the weekend. We have 6 to 8 buggies going up & down the road with bright lights & extremely loud music all hours of the night. Even though I am way off road I still here it so that is loud. Why can’t you ride on your own road”
