MOULTRIE, Ga. — Explore different types of art throughout the year with the Colquitt County Arts Center and the “Art of …” series. These workshops are perfect for beginners and provide a great opportunity to try them out.

April begins with “The Art of Ceramics.” This five-week workshop will run every Monday in April with opportunities to learn hand building techniques and throw clay on the wheel.

Pictured is Leah Garcia demonstrating the potter’s wheel. Garcia and Ashlee Parrish will help you make a chip and dip server and several bowls that can be used daily to eat out of and use as decoration.

This workshop is available on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All supplies are included for $125 per participant.
