Recycling drop-off now open

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Moultrie Mayor Bill McIntosh, left, and City Manager Pete Dillard, right, dump aluminum cans from a bag into a trailer at the new recycling drop-off on First Street Northeast, across from the Municipal Building. City officials cut the ribbon on the new location Friday. Residents can leave corrugated cardboard, aluminum cans and empty metal cans at the location. The city will sell the recyclables and donate the money to the Humane Society of Moultrie and Colquitt County.
