Tech Club visits Moultrie Fire Department

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Sunset Elementary School’s Technology Club recently completed a community service project by visiting Fire Station 1 in Moultrie.

The students presented Capt. Courtney Azar with a card signed by all club members thanking the firefighters for their service to the community. The club also presented them with a bag full of small Beanie Babies to give out to children during an emergency to help keep them calm.

The Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency services for the City of Moultrie 24 hours a day. This service is provided out of three fire stations that are state certified.
