Police hiring
“I see the Moultrie police department is going outside the department to hire another leader. What’s wrong with the people working there and could that have something to do with the huge turnover?”
Walkouts
“I keep seeing school protests where students can walk out of class for part of the day. Seems like a novel way to keep students out of class and further prevent their learning in a new and inventive way. Dumbing down American students in the name of gun protests. Never miss the opportunity to capitalize on someone else’s pain.”
Compliance office
“The City compliance office is open 8:00-4:30 M-F. If you can’t reach them try the main number 985-1974. Good folks willing to help.”
Ticket prices
“If Coach Propst gets a raise this upcoming football season, PLEASE do not raise my season ticket prices. They are high enough already.”
Automatic rifles
“When the media uses the term “automatic” rifle, they’re lying. Those haven’t been for sale to the public for decades. When the media says ‘we need to get rid of these guns’ they’re arguing to outlaw all guns. When pro-gun people say ‘you’re trying to outlaw guns’ and the media says ‘we’re not’ gun people know it’s a lie.”
Bridge the gap
“On top of not knowing basic firearms knowledge, the Democrat gun control crowd has decided to call those with whom they have disagreements about this issue terrorists. We’re not going to bridge that divide any time soon with ignorance like that.”
Protesting
“I am extremely proud of the students who are peacefully protesting the current policies in regard to the sale of firearms in our country. It has taken several tragedies to bring this debate to the national stage. Let us support our young people as they call for change! Military style weapons belong in the military. Enough IS enough.”
Kudos to students
“Kudos to the students around the country who were allowed to support Parkland and participate in the national school walk-out. Colquitt County School leaders take note of what thoughtful planning and prior preparation can accomplish. Shame on you.”
