Fact checking

“President trump made 1,950 untrue claims in 2017. That’s making his job harder. A year-end review of untrue claims from FactCheck.org found Trump dominating the list with remarks on everything from his inauguration to the Russia investigation to his own tax bill. Of PolitiFact’s 483 fact checks on Trump so far, 69% were rated “mostly false,” “false” or “pants on fire.”

Need to vote

“All Republicans need to get out and vote in the midterms and also 2020. Do you want to lose tax savings, gun rights, illegal immigration control, and the respect of other nations and more? Please exercise your voting rights by getting out and voting.”

Principal search

“Why is the process for hiring a principal at CCHS kept secret? Who are the candidates? Who is interviewing them? When will anyone know anything? Where is the transparency?”

Tried to forget

“The Moultrie paper has never been something to brag about but today is the lowest. We could have gone for years without some dumb Toad bringing up My Lai. Many of us who were in that war do our best to forget about it but a fine paper like the one we have in Moultrie will remind us.”

Student walkout

“CCHS students who are at school & participate in the National Walkout on March 14 will be suspended for skipping. Pay close attention to what’s going on in our school district because they want to pretend it can’t happen here. They silence anyone who questions them. Decisions like this are made in secret. Be afraid.”

Need deputies’ attention

“I live on Hopewell Church Road and wish the law would sit out here more than they do as we seem to be the new Indy 500, and stage for super loud music playing drivers, so loud my windows shake. Law officers please come pay our area a visit. Thank you for all you do.”

God in schools

“In response to no punishment: Well what does the public expect when they take prayer out of the schools? God does not want to be where he is not wanted. So with that in mind, spare the rod and you spoil the child. Don’t believe it, look around.”
