Midterm elections
“The Democratic Party instead of holding a meet and greet should start getting the word out that the midterm election are very important. We need to encourage every registered voter to vote in every election. Let your voices be heard at the ballot box. Without begin involved in the process, you have no room to complain. Get involved.”
Boxes of food
“So the people with EBT cards say it is degrading to get box food? Didn’t seem to matter when commodities were given out. Spoiled by all the lobster, steak and shrimp huh? How about helping Seniors out by giving those boxes to us. I’d be glad to get one. But we can’t get anything.”
Guns at school
“Nearly 50 years ago students drove to school with guns in their trucks and we even had a school gun club, but no school shootings. So, what is different from then to now? It’s not a gun problem but the way our young people are being raised. No more punishment not even in schools. Something has got to change.”
Abortions
“The Parkland shooting took 17 victims, which is less than fifteen minutes work for Planned Parenthood on average.”
Glorifying guns
“All of those actors and actresses who speak out against guns are the very ones in movies glorifying and worshiping guns. Typical liberal hypocrisy.”
Armed guards
“Why don’t we provide our school children with a fraction of the ARMED protection we provide the actors and actresses at the Oscars?”
Cigarette rules
“When did the ATF laws change allowing the convienent store to sell SINGLE cigarette? I saw this in two different stores today here in Moultrie. 2 for a dollar! Seems like some of these stores operate under their own rules.”
Equal representation?
“City of Moultrie staff visits Atlanta. Equal representation??! Do better.”
School taxes
“Wouldn’t it make better sense to get rid of school tax just for property owners and use a one cent sales tax increase to pay for it so EVERYBODY WOULD PAY THEIR PART? Just asking.”
