MOULTRIE, Ga. — Friends and family of Jesse Hendrixson watch balloons released in his memory as they climb into the sky Wednesday evening.

Hendrixson, an 18-year-old junior at Colquitt County High School, died Tuesday. His classmates organized the balloon release, which well over 100 people attended, behind Starbucks on Veterans Parkway.

He was the son of Carrie and Wayne Hendrixson of Moultrie.
