Multiple thefts reported

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Thieves who hit cars and homes in recent days made off with $3,435 worth of property including lawn equipment, guns and other items.
Burglaries investigated by law enforcement included:
• Johnathan Hardin, 500 block Cox Still Road, Adel, reported Monday the theft of a Glock semi-automatic pistol valued at $500.
• Robert Miller, 500 block Clarence Jones Road, reported Monday the theft of property valued at $525 from a shed.
• Terry Fisher, 300 block Seminole Drive, reported Monday the theft of a Craftsman weed trimmer valued at $200.
• Esther Lashley, 1800 block Tallokas Street, reported Monday the theft of pills from two prescription medication bottles.
The value of the pills was $30.

Sheriff’s Office
• Miranda Stripling, 200 block C.O. Kennedy Road, reported Monday the theft of a Hi-Point semi-automatic pistol and a gun case with a total value of $460 taken from a 1986 Toyota truck parked in the 300 block of C.O. Kennedy Road.
• Tommy Gay, 100 block North Pine Drive, reported Monday the theft of prescription medication valued at $50 while his car was parked in Moultrie.

• A&S Rents, 452 U.S. Hwy. 319 N., reported Tuesday that a customer who rented a floor sander on Jan. 25 had not returned the equipment, which is valued at $1,000.
An employee told police that multiple attempts to get in touch with the man who rented the sander had been unsuccessful.
• Donna Conger, 200 block Old Timey Trail, reported Tuesday the theft of a pressure washer, leaf blower, weed trimmer and battery charger with a total value of $670.

• Christina Henry, 35, 185 Tennyson St., Pelham, was charged Tuesday with theft by taking.
• Victoriano Ramos-Ortiz, 54, 3320 Pleasant Hill Church Road, was charged Wednesday with failure to drive within single lane and driving without license.
• Griceilla Bustamante Gutierrez, 35, was charged Tuesday with violation of compulsory school attendance.

• Joanie Baldares, 1400 block Overlook Drive, reported Monday that a male who came to her door repeatedly asked to come in and charge his cell phone.
When an officer arrived he did not see anyone matching the description given by Baldares in the area.
