Freddie Farrell retires after 40 years

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Moultrie Mayor Bill McIntosh, right, congratulates Freddie Farrell, the city’s beautification supervisor, on his retirement at Tuesday’s city council meeting.

Farrell, who went to work for the city Sept. 12, 1977, retired effective Dec. 31, 2017 — 40 years and three months later.
