MOULTRIE, Ga. — A “smash and grab” robbery of a Moultrie sporting goods store resulted in the loss of an unknown value of clothing.

Moultrie police officers responding to an alarm just after 4 a.m. Wednesday at Hibbett’s Sports, 639 Veterans Parkway S., found a broken glass door. Clothes were strewn on the floor.

A manager played the store video, which showed a man in a gray hoodie and basketball shorts break the front door glass, enter the store, grab clothing articles and leave. A patrol of the area did not turn up a suspect.

The manager said she would perform an inventory Thursday to determine what exactly had been stolen.
