TIFTON — Country musician Joe Nichols is heading to the Tift Theatre May 10.

Nichols is a four-time Grammy nominee and winner of the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist award, known for top hits such as “Yeah,” “Sunny and 75” and “Gimmie That Girl.”

He will be joined by Kaleb King and six time UFC Champion Randy Couture.

Couture’s Xtreme Couture GI Foundation is partnering with McAlpin Entertainment for the event.

Couture’s foundation was formed “to raise money and awareness for those wounded in action and their families,” according to a press release.

“I wore Army green for 6 years and I know the sacrifice and courage

these brave men and women take everyday to uphold our nation’s military

doctrine and protect the American way of Life,” said Couture in the release.

Proceeds from the concert will go to benefit wounded veterans and their families, according to the release.
