MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Kiwanis Club of Moultrie recently received the Distinguished Club Award. Of the nine clubs in its division, it is the only one to receive the honor.
A distinguished club must have a net increase in membership, sponsor a new Kiwanis club, contribute an average of $10 per Kiwanis member to the Kiwanis International Foundation’s Children’s Fund, have representation at the Kiwanis International Convention, and enter a project in the signature service project competition sponsored by Kiwanis International.
The new K-Kids Club is located at Odom Elementary School and is sponsored by former Division 13 Lt. Gov. Angela Castellow.
