“Jasmine Jones is playing her heart out,” said SHS coach Brian Bullock. “She’s doing a really good job for us.”
Suwannee (5-12) forced 25 turnovers and led from start to finish to pick up its first win in the new year. The Bulldogs were able to run different sets on offense and get eight players in the scoring column as they broke a three-game losing streak.
Summer Thomas made a 3-pointer and finished with seven points and four assists. Kalle Herring and Nadia Cohen had six points each.
“Everybody contributed. They’re trusting in what we’re doing – they’re trusting in the whole process,” Bullock said. “The ball movement was great. They’re running the offense a lot better.”
