As an economist let me advise you that the stock market and Wall Street comprises an entity all it’s own. It’s relationship to presidents, outside of major issues like war and pestilence of great magnitude, is purely coincidental.

My experience

“I’ve worked with drug addicts for years in one capacity or another. My experience is that they won’t change until they want to change. Most of them go through several treatment programs.

Suggestion

“When we know the temps are dropping below freezing, why not rent a block of motel rooms, provide gift cards to nearby fast food restaurants, and make referrals to social services? Local churches or government agencies can provide the resources to pay to for the rooms. Those in need would have warm shelter, food, and a bed.

Go figure!

“On the coldest night last week, I bought a street person a hot meal. So far I have not been sued nor have I lost sleep wondering if I will be sued. Go figure!

“The National Football Championship halftime show was as bad as the music they play at the Packer basketball games. And they wonder why no one comes to watch basketball. Music is terrible.. Vulgar and cuss words! Sad part is the AD is right there hearing it and doing nothing about it!!

“The Intermodal facility would be a great place for the homeless to find shelter on a frigid night. It’s not like it’s being used for anything else.
