Board of Realtors presents awards

- The Moultrie Board of Realtors has named Alex Newton as the 2017 Rookie Realtor of the Year. Newton received the award during the association’s annual Christmas Party Dec. 5. The Rookie of the Year award is presented to new Realtors who have met required goals in sales and who actively support civic and charitable organizations in Colquitt County. Newton continually supports the community by volunteering at the Colquitt County Arts Center, First United Methodist Church and RB Wright Elementary School.
The Moultrie Board of Realtors has named Dena Jackson as the 2017 Realtor of the Year. Jackson received the award during the association’s annual Christmas party that was held Dec. 5.
The Realtor of the Year award honors members of the association for their participation and service to the Realtor organization on the local, state and national levels; community involvement, including volunteerism in community service projects; and membership support of civic and charitable organizations.
Jackson has been actively involved in the Realtor organization since 1999. She currently serves as the Moultrie Board of Realtors’ past president and chair of social events committee.
The board also named Alex Newton as the 2017 Rookie Realtor of the Year.
