City recognizes parade winners

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie City Council presented trophies Tuesday to winners of the city’s Christmas Parade, which was held on Thursday.
Awards included:
Best of Show: The City of Moultrie Utilities Department, at left, represented by Utilities Director Elvira Gibson.
Church: Church of God of Prophecy, first; Moultrie Church of God, second; Moultrie First United Methodist Church, third.
Business (15 employees or less): Impulse Towing and Recovery, first; Mike’s Towing and Recovery, second; Sunbelt Supply Company, third.
Business (16+ employees): Lowe’s, first; Windstream Communications, second; Colquitt Regional Medical Center, third.
Organization/Club: Moultrie Sharks Swim Team, first; Hero House, second; Colquitt County Arts Center, third.
School: Sunset Elementary, first; GEAR, second; Colquitt Christian Academy, third.
