UPDATED: Holiday lights

The following Colquitt County residents invite you to come by to see their Christmas displays:
• East Side Baptist Church, 24 Sixth St. N.E., will present Christmas Card Lane, a collection of oversize Christmas cards, 6-9 p.m. Dec. 17-25. The church invites the public to drive through their parking lot to read the holiday messages to the community.
• The Samuel Stewart family, 612 Oak Circle.
• The Turpin family, North Church Street in Doerun.
• The Sherling family invites you to drive by the ”Candy House,” which was located for decades at 1208 11th St. S.W. but has moved this year to 633 Smith Road (near Sunset School).
• Marcos Valega and family, 356 Pine Meadows Subdivision Road.
• On Dec. 23, Countryside neighborhood (off Lower Meigs Road) will have traditional luminaries lighting the road throughout the neighborhood. The community is welcomed to drive through the streets after dark to see the magic of Christmas. Enjoy and remember to dim car lights.
• Hannah and Craig Kirkland, 1312 Third St. S.E. The Kirklands also host visits with Santa Claus 6-8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Dec. 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16.
