MOULTRIE, Ga. — Authors Margie Jordan and Stephanie Hendry will celebrate Moultrie’s first book festival to connect local authors and readers.

The event will be held noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at Beans & Strings, 19 First St. S.E.

Everyone is invited to enjoy unique titles by 11 authors, a motivational talk by Jordan, a panel discussion for aspiring authors, and giveaways, including books, T-shirts and more.

All festival events are free and open to the public.
