Pastor anniversary

St. James Pentecostal Holiness Church will celebrate its pastor’s 16th anniversary Nov. 29-Dec. 1 at 7:30 nightly and will conclude Sunday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. Various churches will host the event throughout the week. Apostle Glynn King, Pastor and Missionary Mary King.

Blood drive

One Blood, the blood center that serves Colquitt Regional Medical Center and other facilities throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama and South Carolina, will hold a blood drive 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at Lowe’s, 602 Veterans Parkway. Donors may receive a $10 Lowe’s gift card.

Pastor Aid

Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 501 Eighth St. N.W., will observe its annual Pastor’s Aid Program at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, and Friday, Dec. 1. This year’s theme is “Appointed by God,” from 1 Thessalonians 2:4. On the program are Lewis Cathedra Church of God in Christ on Thursday and Holy Temple Church of God in Christ on Friday. The Rev.
