A shame

“Yes, it’s  shame that we taxpayers have to pay out hard-earned dollars to help control stray animals when their owners are just too lazy to care for them and dump them on society.

I agree

“I agree, trapping feral cats and neutering them makes more sense and would be more effective that trying to police people who feed them.

“So you’re upset because someone ran over your cat. I’m sure they didn’t do it on purpose and that’s what happens when pets get in the street. And let’s say if they had stopped, what purpose would that have been? Would you have said you understood that it couldn’t be helped or would you have been hostile to someone who likely could not have prevented the issue? I’m truly sorry you lost your pet, but let’s be realistic.

The Moore saga

“Roy Moore will get re-elected because the self-righteous overlook issues when they are in their camp. That’s how it works. But to be honest, I don’t care what they do. We have enough issues closer to home.

Applause

“I want to applaud those expansions that have been reported in the Moultrie Observer. It’s good news to hear of such investments. And applause to the Economic Development Authority for working with them in this regard.

“Thanks for the editorial on the issue of stray and unkempt animals. I routinely see dogs tied up and are never exercised. They stay out in the cold and heat. It appears they are fed but that’s about it. And also, I know of instances where the warm and cuddly puppy was a novelty and then it grew up and wound up not being cared for. Your editorial gives good food for thought.

Deep thinking

“I hear these people fussing about how and where people drive on our roads. My friend as a serious disease for which there is no known cure. His comment to me was that he wished ‘slow poke’ drivers were his only thing to worry about. Made me do some really deep thinking.

A long list

“Wow! Looks like the skeletons in the closets waited until  after Halloween to come out. I read and see on television where yet more high ranking individuals and entertainers are being exposed as perverts. Vegas must have odds on who will be next.
