School issues

“So now you’re blaming the  newspaper for issues in the school system. Some of us happen to work in the system and disagree that this should not be public knowledge. Keep in mind, the schools belong to all the taxpayers.

Few care

“Only a handful of people care about those crepe myrtles covering up the courthouse so just let it go.

Pot holes?

“Resurfacing the hospital parking lot? Where are the pot holes? What about our roads and dirt roads. Now there are some real pot holes on the dirt roads that I and others live on but was told it would take a quarter of a million dollars to just do the bridges. What a shame for us tax payers.

Need help

“As an elderly person why can’t we get some good men from our community to volunteer to drive golf carts to help us elders get to the entrance of our hospital.

We don’t pot holes in the lot. Why is this huge amount of money being spent? Look around at the bad roads!

That house

“I see the house on South Main is, after years of inactivity, getting some attention. The reason it takes years is because the city officials in a position to do something regarding these abated properties do not know that it is part of their job.

Try reading the city ordinances, I have. You would be amazed.

Special meaning

“I see the city crews are putting up the Christmas lights. This has always been a very special time for me and my kids. They are already talking about Thanksgiving evening and seeing them turned on.

This is one of the things that makes our community special.

Upkeep?

“Your neighbor wants to have an all night concert, no problem. Your neighbor wants to have junk cars in front and backyard, no problem.

Your neighbor wants to park in the street impeding traffic , no problem.

Your neighbors haven’t mowed their grass since February, no problem.

Too bad we don’t have laws against this.

Making up dirt

“So, the Democratic party hired a firm to make up dirt on Trump – which then hired a Kremlin lawyer to frame Trump for Russian collusion.

Looks like Don Jr might be guilty of political naiveté and the Democrats, Hillary and Fusion GPS are guilty of colluding with the Russians!
