MOULTRIE – A brouhaha about a bathroom faux pas took police on Saturday evening to Southeast Moultrie to settle an argument over a guest who did not flush the toilet. Police responded at about 5:35 p.m. to the 2400 block of Jacqueline Circle where Albert Wallace reported that several people displaced from a house fire in Pavo were staying at the residence.
Wallace told police that a man hit him in the head.
There were no visible wounds to Wallace, police said, and he refused medical treatment at the scene.
An officer then spoke with Michael Robinson, who told him that he got upset about someone taking a bowel movement and returning to bed without flushing the toilet.
“I advised Albert that any time he uses the restroom, he needs to flush the toilet,” the officer noted.
He also advised Wallace that he could seek an arrest warrant through Colquitt County Magistrate Court.
