Recreation Authority

The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority will meet at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Ryce Community Center, 305 Seventh St. N.W.

NAMI Night

Linda Garrett, work incentive navigator for the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, will discuss “Working while on Disability” during NAMI Night at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7.

NAMI Nights are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Fifth Avenue at Second Street Southeast.

Blood drive

OneBlood will hold a blood drive 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at Walmart, 641 Veterans Parkway. Donors may receive a $10 Walmart gift card. Generally healthy people age 16 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate blood. Photo ID is required.
