Kids Safety Expo set for Saturday

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The South Georgia chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving will host the Moultrie Kids Safety Expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Save-A-Lot on Fifth Street Southeast.
Activities will include safety information and handouts, Sparky the Fire Dog, the rollover simulator, DUI simulator, the Crash Test Dummies and the smoke house simulator.
Participating agencies include the Moultrie Police Department, Georgia State Patrol Post 12, Moultrie Fire Department, MADD South Georgia, sheriff’s offices from Cook, Tift, Lowndes and Colquitt counties, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, Hero House (Colquitt County’s Child Advocacy Center), NAMI Moultrie and Mo Town Customs.
