Church anniversary

First African Missionary Baptist Church of Doerun will be celebrating its anniversary Oct. 16-20, beginning at 7 p.m. with various churches nightly and the Rev. Willie Love Jr.

Services will conclude on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m. with guest speaker the Rev. R. Jenkins of New Mount Olive Church in Acree, Ga.

Democratic Party

The Colquitt County Democratic Party Committee’s October quarterly meeting will be held at 6 p.m.Oct. 26 at the Colquitt County Arts Center.
