GSP makes arrest in connection with Cairo shoplifting

Four people from Florida are under arrest following a reported shoplifting incident in Cairo.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a trooper was notified Friday afternoon about 2:40 p.m. about a maroon Honda Civic wanted in regard to a reported shoplifting in Cairo. Bainbridge Public Safety spotted the vehicle and attempted to stop the Civic, but it failed to stop. Bainbridge Public Safety reported the car was headed south on Highway 1.
A trooper caught up to the car near mile marker 15. The tag matched the one from the car that fled from Bainbridge Public Safety and was wanted for questioning. The trooper attempted to stop the Civic but it failed to stop.
After a short pursuit, another trooper caught up and the two troopers stopped the Civic and took the four occupants into custody without incident.
The driver was identified as Traci Riley, 42, from Tallahassee. The passengers were identified as Carlos Brown, 40, from Fort Lauderdale, Courtney Chambers, 22, from Tallahassee, and Jacoby Adams, 23, from Tallahassee.
