Women’s Conference

Scripture Searchers Sunday School Class will hold their second Women’s Conference 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 4 at Ashburn First Baptist Church. This year’s theme is “Becoming a Vessel of Honor,” based on 2 Timothy 2:21b.

Speakers will be Dorothy Deming of Ashburn and Karen Griffin of Tifton with music by Ann Brady of Valdosta.

Cost is $15 and includes lunch with pre-registration.

NAMI Nights

On the first Tuesday evening of each month The National Alliance on Mental Illness presents NAMI Nights, educational meetings for the community. These informative meetings are open to the public. Following the presentation, those who wish may participate in support groups.
