City predicts 6-8 weeks for storm clean-up

MOULTRIE, Ga. — A City of Moultrie work crew picks up debris piled beside Fourth Avenue Northeast late Friday morning, Sept. 22. The limbs and other yard waste were mostly debris blown down by Tropical Storm Irma on Sept. 11.
City Manager Pete Dillard said at Tuesday’s City Council meeting that he expects it to take six to eight weeks for crews to completely clean up from the storm in the city.
