Colquitt County High softball infielder/pitcher Abby Plymel hit a two-run home run Wednesday at Packer Park vs. Worth County. It gave the Packers a 2-1 lead on Worth, but a near two-hour weather delay followed in the third inning. Worth, unbeaten coming in, stayed that way scoring seven unanswered runs. The final score was 8-2 Rams.

Colquitt County High’s Region 1-7A softball doubleheader at Lowndes High Thursday was postponed to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, due to severe weather, according to Packers coach Chance Pitts.
